2. The excess powder is shaken off, leaving adhesive only where ink is present. The film then enters a curing oven or heat tunnel, melting the powder into a smooth, rubberized adhesive layer.

3. Heat Press Transfer: Once cured, the DTF film can be stored indefinitely or pressed immediately. Using a standard heat press, the film is placed onto the garment and pressed at a moderate temperature. The heat melts the cured adhesive, fusing the ink permanently into the fabric fibers. Once cooled, the PET film is peeled away, leaving behind a crisp, vibrant graphic.
